(SACRAMENTO) – Well…it’s Thursday. And with that Red Flag Warning in effect over the dry winds and brush all throughout the foothills…this is the day many could see their power go out.
As we reported yesterday, P.G. and E. warns they may have to cut power to thousands in foothill counties across a wide area…including Yuba County. Utility officials are concerned over the ease a fire can start…and spread in weather conditions such as these. They fear a spark, from a power line per se, could start another huge fire.
So the utility says 19 hundred customers, across nine counties could go dark for a time…maybe even a few days…stocking up is suggested.
