GRIEF COUNSELING, VIGIL PLANNED FOR 13-YEAR-OLD ALEC FLORES

Franklin Elementary School District’s principal and superintendent Lisa Shelton said they’re working with students and staff to help them cope with the tragic death of 13 year old Alec Flores, who was killed earlier this week by a suspected hit-and-run driver. In addition to the Franklin School counselor, additional counselors were brought in from several different agencies. A reminder that Rolling Stone Pizza Company will offering a “slice of respect” at New Earth Market in Yuba City tomorrow from 3 until 6. In addition, The Sutter Huskies will dedicate Their game Friday night to Alec’s memory. As well, a candle light vigil is planned for Saturday night at 7:00, at River Valley Stadium.
