Brother Dave Paulson was born in downtown Los Angeles and grew up west of L.A. During those early years, he heard the many L.A. area radio personalities and disc-jockeys. He wanted to be one too. He eventually did the afternoon show on one of the suburban stations there. Brother Dave also has a love of the scriptures and gospel music and plays gospel music every Sunday morning from 5-7am on KUBA. He is also a teacher and taught broadcasting lab at the college level. Nowadays during the week, Brother Dave is a School Teacher, teaching today's Kids/tomorrow's Adults

Attending the R.O.P. program sparked John’s interest in Radio. After a stint in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Chandler (DDG-996) John attended National broadcasting School where he honed his craft. Then one day in 1992 John walked into KUBA asking simply “got a job?” since then John has worked every on-air shift at KUBA, becoming the Community Director due to his extensive involvement in Yuba & Sutter Counties. John is currently the Producer and On-Air host of the Nor Cal Shopping Show heard Saturday’s from 10am till noon.!

My deep passion for music started as a teenager while playing bass guitar in garage bands in the San Francisco Bay area where I was born. My best friend is my wife, Janet, and our four-legged pals, Riley, Clara and Hobbes. When I’m not having fun playing the greatest hits of all time I enjoy reading historical biographies, Italian cooking, any hot rod or car show I can find, and throwing the ball for Hobbes, my golden retriever.

For me it’s all about music, my greatest passion. I have collected music since I was 6 years old and studied it as well. I love to play the guitar, especially with other musicians. I have been married to my beautiful bride, Regina, for 29 years. When I'm not on the radio, I work with the Fire Department because I believe helping others is the most important thing I can do with my life. I also like to read books as often as I can get my hands on them.

Jay is an internationally recognized authority on the music and life of Elvis Presley. Since 1988, he’s brought Elvis “in the building” at top radio stations every week, entertaining loyal listeners with Elvis hits, rarities, trivia and interviews with those who knew him best. Jay and his listeners spearheaded a grassroots campaign that led to the release of the best-selling Elvis postage stamp.
He’s worked closely with Graceland, appearing as a guest host on QVC. He’s reported and commented on Elvis events for TV, radio and print outlets worldwide. Jay contributed to Peter Guralnick’s Careless Love: The Unmaking of Elvis Presley, Peter Whitmer’s The Inner Elvis, and has been cited in numerous other Elvis books and publications; including Elvis & You, Roadside Elvis, Elvis World and Graceland Express. Jay narrated the hit DVD, Welcome Home Elvis.
Jay lives in suburban Boston with his wife, two daughters and two dogs. In his “day job,” Jay is a Financial Advisor with a major brokerage firm.

Time flies when you're having fun and radio is all I've...done. My favorite movie is Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman in “Unforgiven,” they’re the best! I also like “Saving Private Ryan” and I'll be so happy when all of our troops are home. I was in the USAF for 4 years, great experience. I love a good cup of coffee with toast and jelly, and I write and read just about every day. Still enjoy watching a high school baseball game. I have a great wife and kids and a good dog. Are there any bad dogs?
