Committed to bringing Yuba-Sutter residents complete coverage of local, regional, and national news and information, sports, weather, and traffic. The KUBA Morning News features three solid hours of information every weekday morning, local news updates every hour during the day, and late breaking news as it happens. AM 1600 & FM 95.5 KUBA also presents an hour long in depth interview with a local newsmaker every weekday and Yuba-Sutter's only local radio news on the weekend. We're proud to be an award winning member of the Associated Press, a CBS Radio News affiliate, and an area Emergency Alert System and Amber Alert station.

The remainder of the broadcast day is filled with the Classic Hits of the 60's and 70's. We feature the widest variety of top soft to medium tempo hits available on radio presented by popular local personalities and targeting active 35-64 year old consumers. Core artists include the likes of Neil Diamond, The Mamas and The Papas, Beatles, Dionne Warwick, America, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, and The Carpenters.

AM 1600 & FM 95.5 KUBA is also involved in more community events in the Yuba-Sutter area than any other station. You'll find us at county fairs, parades, fundraisers, trade shows, local school programs and more. We're also the flagship station for broadcasts of Yuba City High School sports and the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox, the area's popular minor league baseball club. Around town KUBA is well know for "Community Broadcasting at its Best" and we work hard everyday to live up to our reputation.
